Massage is intended to be a preventative maintenance. After problem areas have been worked out you should receive regular massage to maintain healhty muscle structure. Sometimes an injury is the reason to schedule a massage, but massage is not a one time quick fix. Regular massage at least once a month will help prevent injuries and reduce recovery time when injuries do occur.
